Luton & South Beds. Joint Planning Committee (JPC)

Jan / Feb 2010?  Joint Technical Unit works on revamp of Preferred

                               Options Document

Just what the JTU needs to do to get a revised version of the core strategy depends upon which of the 3 options are decided by the Joint Planning Committee.  If it’s Option 3 – reconsider all 13 original possible alternative sites – then the timescale suggested here is likely to be extremely optimistic.

Have in mind that the stage we have now reached is that the next version of the Core Strategy that goes to the legally-required 6-week public consultation is THE definitive Core Strategy.  Once it has been published and has gone to public consultation then it cannot be changed by the JPC, even if during the public consultation there are arguments raised that cast doubt on the validity of the plan.

The next public consultation.
