North Herts. District Council are gearing up to reject the planning application.

Remember that even if the Joint Planning Committee drops all intents of building on the Green Belt to the east of Luton from their Core Strategy, a developer can quite separately put in a planning application, just as Bloor Homes have done.

If the planning application is turned down by North Herts District Council then the developer can take the application to appeal and the application would then become subject to both a public consultation and to an examination by a Government inspector.

The planning application to North Herts Dostrict Council has the reference number 09/02303/1
