Luton Borough Council voted to withdraw its support for development in the east of Luton ... “In its current form”

2nd November 2009
Bloor Homes, one of the original consortium that was proposing to build those 5,500
homes east of Luton, has been seeking support from Peter Lilley -
Peter Lilley is not giving his support and Herts County Council and North Herts. District Council are solidly against this new proposal, just as they opposed the original plans.
A good example of why despite the Luton Borough Council apparent change of heart we cannot afford to be complacent.
